“War is very uncertain in its results, and often when affairs look most desperate, they suddenly assume a more hopeful state” – from The Life and Letters of George Gordon Meade, by George Meade.

Rally Round the Flag® is a game pitting the Army of Northern Virginia against the Army of the Potomac during the three days of the Battle of Gettysburg. Each side is represented by each of the Commanders and their troops at the Battle of Gettysburg. Take control of the Confederate Army and use their consolidated command structure to try and wrest control of Gettysburg from the Union. Or, take control of the Union Army and work to delay the Confederates long enough for Union reinforcements to arrive.

Take command of your army and determine the fate of a Nation. Rally Round the Flag uses a unique method of commanding troops by activating each of the Generals in the battle and using their Leadership to issue orders to their troops. Simple mechanics in Firing and in Military Discipline ensure that you can learn the game in under an hour.
